Rains hung in the air 

Charlie’s horse Sheet’s’ by a nose

Moisture set the pace

football-sized pumpkins

creamed when autumn leaves touch down

winter loses yards

Inside broken glass

Outside looks are deceiving

Praise God, now I’m cleansed
